We placed our first order at the New York Gift Show for 30 bags and completely sold out today at an eco-friendly green market in our town! We will be placing another order this week. We’re thrilled!

First I brought an Envirosax as a gift for a friend; then I felt so jealous that I had’t purchased one for myself; I ran back to the home furnishings store Hammertown in Great Barrington to purchase one for myself.
Recently, I made a purchase at Macy’s, whipped out my Envirosax and told the sales person to place my purchase in it and save a branch. I no longer have a collection of fancy shopping bags I feel guilty throwing away.
I plan to purchase Envitosaxs for all my friends and colleagues for holiday gifts. It
will surely be a gift they will rememebr me by.
Can you tell me where I can purchase them in New York City?
Thank you Envirosax people. Sandy from FIT

I have lots of kinds of reusable bags, but yours are the best! I put one in my suitcase (in a “travel essentials” zip-lock bag that includes binder clips to keep drapes shut, ear plugs, etc.) and use it all the time, most recently in Budapest, Vienna & Prague, where the majority of the time people bring their own bags to markets. The bags fold up to be SO small, there’s no excuse to ever be without one.
I just bought a bunch of bags to put in “Have a GREEN Christmas” gifts I plan to put together this year.

I just read about Envirosax on a mom blog and I am hooked. I have been looking for a bag like this for weeks — sturdy and inexpensive enough that I can buy several at once. Wow! So glad I found you today!

I love these bags. They are going to be part of my Christmas gifts this year. I live in a small town that only seems to use plastic bags for everything. I love taking this in the market and other shopping. So much better then anything else!

I’m curious, for those of you who have these already, if they could be drawn on with permanent markers or fabric paints, i.e., having my kids decorate them for gifts. I’m looking for this type of bag to decorate and am hoping these would work. If you can email me at lesat409@gmail.com and let me know…that’d be great.

Monochromatic Bag 4 is an elegant yet functional bag. The best I have ever seen. I remember my Grandmother carrying a big basket to market and it was so heavy before she even began to fill it. Then my Mother would sew her own “shopping bags” from discarded materials–even curtains. I still have a few of hers and she even macromaid (sp) some that were strong as iron. I think the Envirosax is revolutionary and will be around forever. Great for grocery shopping, traveling, the mall. Light weight, easy on the finger and great for the enviroment. I love it!!
